Sleep aboard a 50 foot catamaran on her mooring at Staniel Cay, and explore the cays by dinghy. Add the Center Console for three days and you will see more than most boats see in a month.
Plan my Boat BnB week
The Lagoon 500 stays on her mooring at Staniel Cay all week. You get the whole boat: four en-suite cabins, four heads, the flybridge, the cockpit, the trampoline, and the best sunset seat in the Exumas.
The dinghy is yours for the week. Run into the Yacht Club for dinner, over to the grotto for a morning snorkel, or out to the sandbar when the tide drops. Nobody has to navigate, anchor, or plan a passage.
It is the easiest way to try Staniel Cay life, and a favorite with first-timers and families who want the island without captaining the whole week.

The Lagoon 500 on her mooring at Staniel Cay and the dinghy, Friday to Friday, for up to eight guests.
Everything above, plus the 18 foot Center Console for three days. That is a $2,000 upgrade on a boat that rents for $2,400 on its own. We recommend Monday through Wednesday.
Plus fuel, the 14% Bahamas charter VAT, and a $500 Friday turnover fee: fresh laundered linens and towels, a full clean, the dinghy washed down, and a systems and safety inspection before you board.

A Triton 18 with a 2025 Yamaha 115, fast enough to reach the far sandbars before lunch and shallow enough to go where the big boats can't. The water is flat most days, and from her you see more of the Exumas in three days than a catamaran sees in a week.
Run her yourself, or bring a local guide: Ran Ran for spearfishing and snorkeling ($400 a day) or Tyler for a classic exploring day ($300 a day).
The Bond grotto is a short run from the mooring. Go at slack low tide and swim straight in.
Big Major is next door. Go early, before the day boats arrive from Nassau.
Sandbars, coral heads, and empty beaches to the north, an easy day on the Center Console.
No. She stays on her mooring at Staniel Cay all week, which is what keeps the rate where it is. If you want to sail her through the cays, that is a bareboat week on the Lagoon 500.
Not for the big boat, since she never leaves the mooring. You should be comfortable running a dinghy, and we walk everyone through it when you board. If you add the Center Console and would rather not drive, bring Ran Ran or Tyler along.
Weeks run Friday to Friday. You board at 4pm and step off the following Friday at 9am. The stores on Staniel close on Sundays, so a Friday arrival means the galley is stocked before the weekend.
Up to eight, in four en-suite cabins with their own heads.
You provision yourselves, from home, Nassau, Fort Lauderdale, or the island stores, and the Yacht Club is a short dinghy ride for dinner. Our Food & Provisions guide lays it out.
We recommend Monday through Wednesday. Spend the weekend settling in and exploring close to home by dinghy, take the Center Console out midweek, and keep Thursday for one last easy day before you fly out Friday morning.
Fuel, the 14% Bahamas charter VAT (it goes to the government), a $500 turnover fee (every linen and towel laundered, a full interior clean, deck and dinghy washed down, and a systems and safety inspection before you board), and your own bar tab ashore. Guide days on the Center Console are extra.
Send us your dates and group. We check the calendar and come back with a quote, usually the same day.
Captain Ron picks it up right away, and the crew who lives here follows up personally.
