Day charters · For guests staying on Staniel Cay

A day on the water,
from right here.

Already have a bed on Staniel Cay? Take the Lagoon 500 out with a captain and stewardess for your whole group, or run the Center Console yourself. The swimming pigs are next door, not a day trip away.

Great Exuma is not the Exuma Cays.

It is the most common mix-up we hear. Great Exuma and George Town are the big island at the far south end of the chain. The Exuma Cays, where the swimming pigs, Thunderball Grotto and the Land and Sea Park live, are up here around Staniel Cay.

From George Town or Nassau, the pigs are a flight or a long day on the water. From Staniel Cay, they are a short run from the dock.

Our day charters are for guests staying on Staniel Cay itself. If you are not booked here yet, a few nights on Staniel is the fix, and getting here is easier than people think.

Ask about the Center Console

Lagoon 500 day charters begin with her season in mid November 2026.

What a day can hold

Pick three or four. The captain picks the order.

Weather and tide have the final say, and your captain builds the day around both.

The swimming pigs

Big Major Cay, right next door. Go early and beat the tour boats out of Nassau.

Thunderball Grotto

The cave from the Bond film, best at slack tide when the swim in is easy.

Compass Cay nurse sharks

Gentle, famous, and very photogenic.

Pipe Creek sandbars

Shallow, turquoise, and usually all yours.

How it works

Three steps, then the water.
