Our story

The end of the line, on purpose.

Staniel Cay Yacht Partners is a small, boutique group of boat owners and partners chartering out of Staniel Cay, deep in the Exumas. It is about as close to the end of the line as you will ever find a charter base.

No big charter company would ever run boats from here. It is just too remote. That is exactly why we do.

Why nobody else is here

Too far for a fleet. Just right for us.

Out here there are no haul-out yards, no big marinas and no chandleries. If something breaks and the part is not aboard, it is days away. A company running a hundred boats does that math and stays in the BVI.

We stayed because we lived here first. Years aboard our own boat taught us which anchorages hold when the wind clocks around, where the fuel is, and who to call when something fails: the generator guy, the diesel mechanic who can be on a plane the same day, the islanders who quietly keep boats alive down here. That network is the business.

Owners and partners

Owner-kept boats, not fleet boats.

Every boat we run belongs to a private owner who wants her working in the best water in the world, not sitting on a mooring. They charter just enough weeks to help keep her here, and they keep her the way an owner does.

"Partners" is in our name because the owner and the guest want the same thing: a boat that works perfectly in a place that is hard on equipment. We are the bridge.

The Exuma Ready standard

Ready for where help is far away.

A full day on batteries

Enough solar and battery to run the boat for 24 hours without engines or a generator.

Watermakers that get used

Real use and real service, not one that has been sitting since last season.

Spares aboard

Redundant pumps and spares for the things that fail, because the part is days away.

Ground tackle for here

Anchors and chain rated for the Exumas, not just technically aboard.

Who we are

Brandon and Cindy, and the Magic Bus.

We came up on the water. Brandon spent thirty years in the marine industry before we ever pointed our own boat toward Staniel Cay.

During COVID we brought our family down aboard the Magic Bus and never really left. We lived aboard, got it wrong sometimes, and learned how this place actually works: what the weather does in February versus April, what breaks first, and who you call when it does.

We lost the Bus on a delivery in November 2025. Everyone got off safe, which is the only part that matters. We did not leave Staniel Cay over it. We built Staniel Cay Yacht Partners around it, and some of our past guests now trust us with their own boats.

We have a real conversation with every bareboat crew. If there is any doubt, we put one of our captains aboard for the first trip, and most of those crews come back the next season knowing these waters.

"We're not trying to be the loudest operation in the Caribbean. We're trying to be the one people trust with their time."
