These terms cover this website and how booking a charter with Staniel Cay Yacht Partners ("we," "us") works. Staniel Cay Yacht Partners manages privately owned yachts at Staniel Cay, Exuma, Bahamas, and books them as manager and agent for each owner.
A charter is booked only when you sign a charter agreement for your specific boat and dates. Your agreement sets out the price, the payment schedule, cancellation terms, the security deposit and the rules aboard. If anything on this website differs from your signed agreement, the agreement controls.
Signing the agreement and paying the deposit is a request to book. We confirm every week by hand and email you when your dates are confirmed. If we cannot confirm your dates, we refund everything you paid.
Prices are in US dollars. Charter prices are shown before the 14% Bahamas VAT and port fee and any turnover or cleaning fee, which are added on your agreement. Fuel, provisions, mooring, harbor and park fees, and personal expenses are not included unless your agreement says so. Prices on this site and in our chat assistant are estimates until they appear on a signed agreement.
A deposit is due when you sign (for most weekly charters, 50% of the charter fee), and the balance is due by the date on your agreement. A refundable security and fuel deposit is collected with the balance. You can pay by bank transfer (ACH), wire, check, Zelle or Venmo, or by card.
Online card and bank payments are processed by Stripe. Card payments carry a card processing fee of 3% of the amount paid, shown before you pay; bank payments have no fee. We never see or store your full card or bank account number.

You are responsible for the safety and conduct of everyone in your party, for the number of guests aboard staying within the limit on your agreement, and for having valid travel documents for the Bahamas. Boats are for private pleasure use only.
The chat on this site is an automated assistant. It can answer questions and take your details, but it cannot make a booking, hold dates or agree to a price. Only a signed agreement does.
Photos and descriptions show the boats and the Exumas as accurately as we can; boats and conditions change, and your agreement describes your boat. Content on this site belongs to Staniel Cay Yacht Partners or its owners and partners and may not be copied for commercial use.
These terms and every charter agreement are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, USA. Disputes are resolved by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association in Connecticut, as set out in your agreement.
